There is pleasure in being a beginner. A sketchbook, a clay workshop, a walking route or a different kind of music can interrupt the familiar rhythm of a week.
Choose something small enough to try once. You do not need to buy every tool, book a long course or promise to be good at it.
Invite someone to join you, or enjoy arriving on your own. Notice what holds your attention. Keep the parts you like, and give yourself permission to leave the rest.
Curiosity is not another task to complete. It is an invitation to spend a little time on yourself.
